Overview

Sunstone earns its name. The stone carries a warm, luminous orange that shifts in tone depending on the light sometimes golden, sometimes a deeper copper because of the reflective mineral inclusions layered inside. This Sunstone Kite Gemstone Accent Set Ring puts that color in a kite cut, 2.55 CT, 10.80x6.35 MM, a four sided shape that tapers to a point above and below, wider across the middle.

The accent arrangement layers two moissanite shapes against that center. Marquise moissanite, full white VVS, 0.15 CTW, 4.00x2.00 MM, sit on the shoulders with their elongated points echoing the geometry of the kite above. Round moissanite, full white VVS, 0.05 CTW, 1.50 MM, step outward from there. This Orange Kite Gemstone Accent Set Ring uses the marquise shape deliberately: its pointed ends mirror the kite's own lines, creating a design that reads as unified rather than assembled.
